To resolve the error, perform the following steps:
- To determine if the above keys exist, use Regedit.exe or Regedt32.exe. If the keys do not exist, add them.
- To determine if the key permissions are too restrictive, open Regedt32.exe, and select the registry key. On the Security menu, click Permissions to view the Access Control List for the key. The authenticating user must have at least Read permission to the registry keys.
NOTE: The user account is determined by the authentication method settings of the MSADC virtual folder for the Web site. If you are using anonymous access, the user account is the IUSR_computername account. - Restart your Web service.
