Symptoms

Numerous third party solutions exist for customers interested in archiving Exchange data for compliance reasons. Solutions that are based on Continuous Data Protection (CDP) or similar log shipping architectures are ideally suited for High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions, however solutions based on Exchange journaling are the recommended approach for archiving. Customers interested in e-mail archiving for Exchange Server should read the articles identified in More Information in order to learn more about the benefits afforded by journaling.
