OLE Error Message When You Paste a Shape from Visio to Word

Symptoms

When you copy a shape from a Microsoft Office Visio 2003 drawing and then try to paste it into a Microsoft Word 2002 or Microsoft Office Word 2003 document, you may receive the following error message:
Word is waiting for another application to complete an OLE action.
If you cancel the message, it reappears after several seconds. The paste operation is not successful. You must use Task Manager to end the Visio and Word processes.

Cause

This problem occurs when you use Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Connection to access both Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Word on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services.
