Other versions of Microsoft Windows
To install updates silently to the Microsoft VM (Msjavwu.exe)
without restarting your computer, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click
Run.
- In the Open box, type
cmd, and then click OK.
- Use the appropriate command.
- Press ENTER.
Notes
- You cannot install this package on computers that do not
have an earlier version of the Microsoft VM installed.
- Stand-alone versions of the Microsoft VM were previously
distributed as Msjavx86.exe.
- Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack
1a (SP1a) do not include or install the Microsoft VM.
