To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
- Browse to each of the following keys:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Installer\Products
- Right-click each subkey that begins with the digits "904," and then click Delete on the shortcut menu.
When the confirmation message appears, click Yes.
- Quit Registry Editor.
