"Site collection has exceeded its daily resource quota" error message when you try to run a sandbox solution on a Content Type Hub site collection in SharePoint Online

Problem

Assume that you have a Microsoft SharePoint Online custom solution that you uploaded and activated in the Solution Gallery on the Content Type Hub site collection. When you try to perform an action that uses the custom solution, you receive the following message:

The site collection containing this sandboxed solution has exceeded its daily resource usage quota.

Workaround

To work around this issue, deploy the custom solution on a SharePoint Online site collection other than the Content Type Hub.

More information

This issue occurs because no server resources�are allocated to the Content Type Hub as part of the server resource quota. This behavior is by design.
