"List does not exist" error when you view a SharePoint Online site that was created from a template

Problem

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a Microsoft SharePoint Online site that contains a custom list and a List View Web Part that presents a Datasheet view of the list contents on a page.
  • You save the site as a template and then create another site by using the saved template.
  • You use the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 experience version for the new site.
  • When you view the List View Web Part on the site that was created by using the saved template, you receive the following error message:
    List does not exist. The page you selected contains a list that does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user.

Solution

To resolve this issue, take one of the following actions:
  • Delete and then re-create the List View Web Part.
  • Open the affected page in Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2013, and then click�Save.
