"No Subscription Found" error when you try to activate Office Mobile on iPhone

Problem

When you try to activate Microsoft Office Mobile on iPhone, available in the Apple iTunes Store as "Office Mobile for Office 365 subscribers," you receive the following error message:
No Subscription Found
We couldn't find a subscription connected to your account.
This issue occurs if the user account isn't assigned a Microsoft Office Professional Plus license.

Solution

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Check that the user is assigned an Office Professional Plus license. After an Office Professional Plus license is assigned, it could take up to 15 minutes for the user account to be set up and allowed to activate Office.
  2. Check the service health status for the Office Subscription service. To learn more, go to View the status of your services.
