To apply this cumulative update, install the Server.msp package on computers that are running the following server roles:
  • Lync Server 2010 – Standard Edition Server
  • Lync Server 2010 – Enterprise Edition - Front-end
  • Lync Server 2010 – Enterprise Edition – Standalone Audio Video Conferencing Server
Note After you install this cumulative update, clear the cache in Windows Internet Explorer before you try to join a meeting in Lync Server 2010. This is because you cannot join a meeting if a Javascript file is cached. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In Internet Explorer, open Internet options.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Click the Delete… button in the Browsing history section, and then click OK.

Removal information

To remove this cumulative update, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.
