INTRODUCTION

Issues that this update package fixes

This cumulative update fixes the following issues:
  • 2571537 Event ID 1000 is logged when the Registrar service crashes on a Lync Server 2010 front-end server
  • 2577957 A public IM user can send instant messages to an internal Office Communicator 2007 R2 user in a Lync Server 2010 environment
This update package also fixes the issues that are previously documented in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) articles:
  • 2538969 The "QueryCategory" function in a MSPL script does not return the presence information in Lync Server 2010

This cumulative update, together with update 2502810, fixes the following issue:
  • 2517730 The call history information is incomplete in Lync Server 2010 Mediation Server
