Summary

This Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services (MATS) diagnostic verifies connectivity between a Microsoft Office 365 Exchange customer and the customer's hosted mailbox.

The diagnostic that is described in this article can be used on the following versions of Microsoft Windows.
  • Windows 7
  • Windows 8
When you run the Office 365 Connectivity Analyzer diagnostic, you are prompted to select one of the following diagnostic tests:
  • Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Connectivity Tests
  • Microsoft Office Outlook Connectivity Tests




In step 1 of the diagnostic, type the email address of the mailbox that you want to test.



In step 2 of the diagnostic, type the Microsoft Online Services ID, and then click Next.




Type the password for the Microsoft Online Services ID, and then click OK.




After the tests are completed, the results are displayed on the screen.
