Update that includes the 2013 DST changes for Chile and Paraguay in Lync Phone Edition

Symptoms

This article combines the updates that include the 2013 daylight saving time (DST) changes for Chile and Paraguay in Windows CE for Microsoft Lync Phone Edition.

After you apply this update, the DST data for Chile is as follows:
  • For Chile Standard Time (UTC -4:00), DST ended on April 27, 2013 at 23:59:59.999. Clocks should have been set to go back to 23:00:00.000 of the same day.
  • For Chile Standard Time (UTC -4:00), DST starts on September 7, 2013 at 23:59:59.999. Clocks should be set to go forward to 01:00:00.000 of September 8. 
After you apply this update, the DST data for Paraguay is as follows:
  • For the Paraguay Asuncion time zone (UTC -4:00), DST ended on March 23, 2013 at 23:59:59.999. Clocks should have been set to go back to 23:00:00.000 of the same day.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, install the appropriate cumulative update for the telephone that you are using:

For Aastra 6721ip and Aastra 6725ip telephones
