    • You open an Office Excel 2007 workbook on the computer through this RDP connection.
    • You copy some cell from the Office Excel 2007 workbook.
In this scenario, Office Excel 2007 crashes when you paste the cell that you copied into the same workbook by using the Paste Picture Link command.

  • Office Excel 2007 crashes when you open certain Excel workbooks.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • User A opens an Office Excel 2007 workbook that is stored on a network share.
    • User B opens the same workbook as read-only.
    • User A makes changes to the workbook and then saves the workbook.
In this scenario, User B cannot see the changes that User A saved when User B clicks Update file on the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT) in Office Excel 2007.

  • You apply 2007 Office Suite Service Pack 2 (SP2) on a computer that has Office Excel 2007 installed. When you paste an ActiveX object into an embedded Office Excel 2007 worksheet, Office Excel 2007 crashes.

  • You press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F9 to perform a full recalculation in an Office Excel 2007 workbook. And then, you save the workbook. When you open the workbook again, you may receive the following error message:
Excel found unreadable content in 'FileName'. Do you want to recover the contents of this workbook? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes.

  • Consider the following scenario:
    • You have an Office Excel workbook that contains a chart and a shape. The height of the shape is 0.
    • You right-click the chart and select Move Chart, and then you select New sheet in the Move Chart dialog box.
In this scenario, Office Excel 2007 crashes when you click OK in the Move Chart dialog box.

  • When you open a workbook that has an Excel 4.0 format in Office Excel 2007, you find that the chart is displayed incorrectly. This issue occurs when the data resource for a chart of the workbook is in another .dat file.

  • On a computer that is running Windows 7, you may receive the following message when you save an Office Excel 2007 workbook:
Your changes could not be saved to 'FileName' because of a sharing violation. Try saving to a different file.
