Introduction

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Consider the following scenario. You create a chart in an .xls file, and you select the Vary colors by point (or Vary colors by slice, if you create a pie chart) option for the chart. You hide the rows or the columns where the data of the chart is located, and you save the file in .xls format. You open the .xls file in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and you unhide the rows or the columns that you hid. In this scenario, you find that the colors for the data points are lost.
You copy some cells from an Office Excel 2007 workbook that has many custom formatting styles. You paste these cells into another instance of Office Excel 2007 workbook. After you copy and you paste several times, you find that you cannot paste more copied content.
In Office Excel 2007, you open an .xls file that contains 3D chart. The 3D chart was created in Microsoft Office Excel 2003 and the data for the 3D chart is hidden. When you unhide the data for the 3D chart in Office Excel 2007, you find that the dimensions of the plot area in the chart are compressed.
