Symptoms

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, you try to move items to a managed custom folder in Outlook Web Access (OWA) that is running in online mode or in Microsoft Office Outlook running in cache mode. If the OWA or Outlook is running in online mode, you receive the following error message:
Some items could not be moved. This may be because the folder has reached its size limit.

You do not receive this error message in OWA or in Outlook that is running in cached mode. Additionally, the items that you tried to move disappear from the source folder. Also, the next time that you log on to Outlook, you may find a synchronization error in the Synch Failures folder in your mailbox.

If, you try to move your mailbox, you receive the following error message:
[<Date/Time>] [0] [ERROR] Error was found for <mailbox> (<address>) because: Error occurred in the step: Moving messages. Failed to copy messages to the destination mailbox store with error:
MAPI or an unspecified service provider.
