Issue that this hotfix package fixes

• A memory leak occurs when a chart is redrawn in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
  
• when you try to enable or disable specific smart tags on the Smart Tags tab in the AutoCorrect dialog box, the wrong smart tags are disable or enable in the registry.
  
• Office Excel 2007 crashes if you use an Excel .xll add in to close active workbooks.
  
• When you try to save a workspace file (.xlw), the file is not saved. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
  
  This extension can not be used with the selected file type. Change the file extension in the File name test box or select a different file type by changing the Save as type.
  
  
• Consider the following scenario. You apply Microsoft 2007 Office suites Service Pack 2 (SP2) or a later service pack for the 2007 Office system. Then, You protect an .xls workbook with a password and then embed this workbook into a application. In this scenario, you cannot update the embedded .xls object.
  
• After you apply the 2007 Office system SP2, a macro that is assigned to a button is changed when you copy and then move a worksheet in Office Excel 2007. Therefore, the macro link of the original button is updated to the new workbook so that the macro will not run any longer.
  
• 976467 The caption texts of ActiveX components in Excel 2003 are distorted after you use a third-party Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution to span across multiple monitors
