FIX: An MT564 message that does not contain 97A or 97C field in Sequence B2 does not fail validation as expected when you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft BizTalk Server:

• You use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.1, Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3, Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 3.0, or Microsoft BizTalk 2009 Accelerator for SWIFT to process messages together with BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack.
• You have enabled Business Rule Engine (BRE) validation on the SWIFT disassembler (DASM) and you have deployed validation policy for MT 564 messages.
• You receive an MT 564 message that does not contain 97A or 97C fields in Sequence B2 (Account Information.)

In this scenario, the MT 564 message does not fail validation as expected. The message is accepted by BizTalk Server.

Note The 97A and 97C fields indicate the safe account information. According to the SWIFT standard, each Sequence B2 (Account Information) in MT564 message must contain either a 97A or a 97C field.

This problem occurs because of an error in the validation policy for MT 564 messages in Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack.

Apply the hotfix to address this problem. For detailed steps, follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file that the hotfix package contains.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack installed to apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart Internet Information Services (IIS) and the BizTalk Host Instance service after you apply this hotfix.

Hotfix replacement information

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.

File information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
