To resolve this problem, apply the Excel 2007 hotfix package that is dated April 30, 2009, and then set a value for the EMFForcePrintOw registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:

- Set a value for the EMFForcePrintOw registry entry. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start Registry Editor.
- In Windows Vista, click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or provide confirmation.
- In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
- Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Graph\Options
- On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
- Type EMFForcePrintOw, and then press ENTER.
- Right-click EMFForcePrintOw, and then click Modify.
- In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
- Exit Registry Editor.
