Error message when you try to refresh data for an Excel chart that is stored in an HTTP location in a presentation: "The linked file is not available. Use the Edit Links command to find the file"

In Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, you paste a Microsoft Office Excel chart that is stored in an HTTP location into a presentation by using the default paste operation. When you try to refresh data for the chart in the presentation, you receive the following error message:

To resolve this problem on a Windows XP-based computer, apply the Excel 2007 hotfix package that is dated April 30, 2009.
