To modify the registry entry, follow these steps:

Start, click
Run, and in the
Open box, type the following:

2.������ Locate the
ProxyServer value under the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings
3.������ On the
Edit menu, click
Edit, String.
4.������ Remove the entry associated with Gopher (for example, remove gopher=proxyserver:80;), and then click
