Description of the Excel 2007 hotfix package (Oart.msp, Oartconv.msp): February 24, 2009

This article describes the Microsoft Office Excel 2007 issue that is fixed in the Excel 2007 hotfix package that is dated February 24, 2009.

This hotfix fixes the following issues:

• The axis values on a chart are not displayed correctly. This issue may be caused by the rounding algorithm.
  
• You cannot protect a chart object by using Visual Basic for Application (VBA) in Excel 2007.
  
• On a Windows Vista-based computer, you open a PowerPoint 2007 presentation that uses a special font. If the font does not exist on the computer, this presentation displays two lines instead of one line.
  
• PowerPoint 2007 may crash when you move through slides on a multiprocessor computer.
  
• You put text inside a shape in a presentation. If the text extends outside the shape, the position of the text appears differently in PowerPoint 2003 and in PowerPoint 2007.
  
• When you try to print an XLS file In Excel 2007, a comment from the first page may be printed on the second page.
  
• In Excel 2007, when you put the mouse pointer over a chart, a graphics device interface (GDI) leak may occur. Additionally, you receive the following error message in Excel 2007:
  Out of system resources.
