Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You install the daylight saving time (DST) update that is described in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 951072 on an Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based server that has the Client Access server (CAS) role installed. Then you change one occurrence of a recurring appointment to make an exceptional occurrence. In this scenario, you find that mobile users whose location is set to New Zealand can no longer synchronize the exceptional occurrence of the recurring appointment.

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 9 for Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1.
