Symptoms

When you use some third-party migration tools to migrate data from Lotus Notes to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, the information store service (Store.exe process) crashes intermittently.

Cause

There are certain messages that include unexpected data fields, and these data fields cause the problem.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 8 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1.
