FIX: Calculated members in a SQL Server 2008 database are not evaluated, and the advanced filters return unexpected results when you run the Filter function in an Excel 2007 PivotTable report

Symptoms

When you run the Filter function in a PivotTable report in a Microsoft Office Excel 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2) workbook to query a Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database, calculated members in this database are not evaluated by the Filter function. Additionally, the advanced filters return unexpected results.

Resolution

Note Because the builds are cumulative, each new fix release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 fix release.
