Active Directory contacts based on SMTP addresses are not recognized when you use the Move-DominoGroup command to migrate from Lotus Domino to Exchange 2007

Symptoms

You use the Move-DominoGroup command to migrate a group from Lotus Domino to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. If a member of the group has a valid SMTP address that is associated with a contact in Active Directory, the Move-DominoGroup command does not add the contact as a member. Instead, the group member is lost.

Resolution

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that this article describes. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
