An unexpected text string appears at the top of the message body when an Exchange Server 2007 user sends an HTML message by using Outlook Web Access

When a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 user sends an HTML e-mail message to mobile phone users by using Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access, the mobile phone users see some unexpected text. This text appears at top of the message body, and in Outlook Web Access or in Microsoft Office Outlook Express, the text resembles the following:

Exchange Server 2007 inserts a STYLE tag in the HEAD section of an HTML part without a comment tag when HTML messages are submitted by using Outlook Web Access. This causes some message clients that do not support STYLE tags to display the text that is in the STYLE tag, and this text is displayed at the top of the message body.

To resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 7 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1.
