Description of the Excel 2007 hotfix package (Excel.msp, Graph.msp, Xlconv.msp): October 28, 2008

This article describes the Microsoft Office Excel 2007 issues that are fixed in the Excel 2007 hotfix package that is dated October 28, 2008.

This hotfix fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

• When you print a chart sheet, the chart sheet is truncated if the paper size of the chart sheet is larger than A3.
• It takes a long time to open a document that contains many linked Microsoft Office Excel charts.
• You cannot use a filter for the large double-byte character set (DBCS) data field.
• You cannot programmatically access the category of a graph in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007.
• You add a data table to a chart in an Excel workbook, and then you hide the chart. When you save the workbook in an XLS file format, the data table is not saved.
