Symptoms

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, some recurring meetings may be missing when you try to view them using Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. However, the same meetings are not displayed as expected on a Microsoft Office Outlook client.

Cause

When an Outlook Web Access client is used to view recurring meetings, Exchange Server 2007 creates a filter to check the recurrence binary large object (BLOB) data that is contained within the master item of the recurring series. If the recurrence BLOB data is larger than 32 kilobytes (kb), Exchange Server 2007 cannot correctly process the item. When this happens, the recurring meetings cannot be displayed on the OWA client.
