This article describes a software update that provides a log tracing feature for the LogTruncator tag in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

To add the log tracing feature to an Exchange 2007-based server, install Update Rollup 8 for Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1. After you install this update, log tracing is available. However, you should be an Exchange expert to manually configure the tracing. Also, if you set additional tracing flags, server peformance may be decreased.
