You can enable AfterConversion snapshot for all messages if Pipeline Tracing and Content Conversion Tracing are enabled

View products that this article applies to.

Introduction

In order to troubleshoot a content conversion issue on a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 server, you can enable Pipeline Tracing and Content Conversion Tracing after you install Update Rollup 4 on the Exchange server.

After you do this, a folder that is named ContentConversionTracing is created inside the path that is specified by the PipelineTracingPath parameter if Content Conversion tracing is enabled. Inside the ContentConversionTracing folder, content conversion creates the following two subfolders:
  • InboundFailures
  • OutboundFailures
The InboundFailures folder contains the information from content conversion failures that are related to incoming messages. The OutboundFailures folder contains the information from content conversion failures that are related to outgoing messages.
