Symptoms

When you perform a cross-forest migration from Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) by using the Move-Mailbox cmdlet, Exchange Management Shell crashes for certain mailboxes. Additionally, the following event is logged:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1000
Description:
Faulting application powershell.exe, version <version>, stamp xxxx, faulting module migbase.dll, version <version>, stamp xxxx, debug? 0, fault address <address>.

Download and then install Update Rollup 5 for Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1.
