The OOF template may be delivered as an attachment in an Exchange 2007 environment when you use the "Reply with Template" option in Microsoft Outlook

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, the hub transport rule is configured to add a disclaimer into e-mail messages. A user configures the "Out of Office Assistant" to use the Reply with Template option in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 or in Outlook 2007. The e-mail message that has the disclaimer correctly shows the disclaimer in the body of the message, and the Out-of-Office (OOF) template becomes an attachment. In this scenario, those who use external e-mail may be unable to read the attached OOF template. Therefore, the information that is contained in the OOF attachment is not available.
