You receive an error message when you try to access the Outlook Web Access global address list in an Exchange Server 2007 environment

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, when you try to access the global address list (GAL) in Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access, you receive the following error message: If you then click Show Report, the detailed report includes the following messages:

This problem occurs when more than one thousand users share the same manager. When you try to access the global address list by viewing or selecting these users from the address book, the query to the Active Directory directory service returns an exception.

To resolve this problem, download and install Update Rollup 2 for Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1.
