Symptoms

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 organization, you send a Rich Text Format (RTF) e-mail message to an external, non-Exchange Server recipient. The message contains an inline image attachment. However, when the recipient receives the e-mail message, the image attachment appears as a red "X" in the message body. Additionally, the attachment list does not include the image file.
