Symptoms

On a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Edge server, you use custom words or phrases that end with punctuation. When you do this, the Content Filtering agent does not block HTML e-mail messages even if the custom words or phrases are in the e-mail message body.

Custom words or phrases that do not end with punctuation continue to cause the Content Filtering agent to block messages as expected.

Note The Content Filtering agent blocks plain text e-mail messages if they contain custom words or phrases.
