In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, a user
uses an East Asian language such as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 on a
Windows-based computer. Additionally, the user tries to delegate permission to another
Exchange Server 2007 user. When the delegate check a delegate e-mail message, the
Subject line of the message is corrupted. For example, the Subject line is displayed as follows:
?????? <initiator>?????
However, the message is displayed correctly in the Sent Items folder of the initiator. For example, the
Subject line is displayed in the correct language as follows:
You have been designated as a delegate for
<initiator>
Note Users who use Outlook 2007 together with a language pack may also
encounter this problem.
