List of issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • You use the Microsoft Excel 4.0 Get.Chart.Item macro function to retrieve the position of series data points in an Excel chart. When you run the macro function in Excel 2007, incorrect chart point data is retrieved.
  • When you open an Excel workbook in Excel 2007 by using a hyperlink that contains a query string as part of the URL, you may experience one of the following symptoms:
    • You are incorrectly prompted that the workbook that you are trying to open is in a different format than the file name extension specifies.
    • You are not prompted that the workbook that you are trying to open is in a different format than the file name extension in the query string specifies.
