Symptoms

You use Microsoft Transporter Suite for Lotus Domino to migrate a mailbox to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. After you do this, foreign characters in e-mail messages are not displayed correctly. The foreign characters are displayed as unrecognized symbols and characters.

Notes
  • The foreign characters differ from the language setting on the computer.
  • This problem occurs when the e-mail message from the Internet and the e-mail message body contain foreign characters.
  • All e-mail messages that are self-generated by Lotus Notes and that contain foreign characters are displayed correctly.
