Known issues

Known issues during the installation of the service pack

The following files are not installed by this hotfix package if the Microsoft .NET Framework is not installed on the computer:
  • Infopath.cfg
  • Ipclrwrp.dll
Note If .NET Framework was installed after the installation of Microsoft Office or of Infopath 2003, you may have to reinstall Office or Infopath before you install this update. This makes sure that the files that are listed are updated correctly.

Removal details

After you install this update, you cannot remove the update. To revert to an earlier installation of InfoPath 2003, you must remove InfoPath 2003. Then, reinstall InfoPath 2003 by using the original installation CD.

If you update your administrative installation point and then recache and reinstall InfoPath 2003 on client computers, you can run a command line that includes the REINSTALL=[list of features] property.
