You receive an error message when you create a new directory replication connector that has a Site Replication Service server as the source server or the target bridgehead server in Exchange Server 2003 or in Exchange 2000 Server

Symptoms

When you create a new directory replication connector that has a Site Replication Service (SRS) server as the source server or the target bridgehead server in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, you receive an error message that is similar to the following:
Directory information has already been replicated from site ". Specify a server in another site.

Cause

This problem occurs when you click Yes, the remote site is available on the network in the Information about the remote site can be used to configure replication. Is the remote site available on the network? box when you create the new directory replication connector in the Microsoft Exchange Administrator tool.

Workaround

To work around this problem, click No, the remote site is not available on the network in the Information about the remote site can be used to configure replication. Is the remote site available on the network? box when you create the new directory replication connector in the Microsoft Exchange Administrator tool.
