In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 organization or in a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server organization, you receive an e-mail message that has an attached e-mail message in Microsoft Outlook. When you view the attached message, the message is blank.
This problem occurs when all the following conditions are true:
� | An event sink is registered on the Exchange store in the Exchange Server organization. Additionally, the event sink is active.
Note An event sink may be registered by third-party antivirus software services. |
� | Outlook is configured as a MAPI client. |
� | A rule that automatically forwards the received message is configured in Outlook. |
� | The content type of the attached message is "message/rfc822." |
Similarly, the recipient of the automatically forwarded message receives a blank attachment.
