Internet Explorer calculates print job page counts incorrectly.

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you print a Web page from a computer that has Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 installed, the total number of pages that is displayed in the Print queue is incorrect.

For example, in the Print queue, in the Page Range area of the General tab, if you click to select Pages, type 1 in the Pages box, and then click Print, the total number of pages that is displayed in the Print queue is 2 instead of 1.

Note The page calculation error may occur when you print multiple copies of the same Web page.
