A prefix in the Subject line of a journaled e-mail message is duplicated in Exchange 2000 Server or in Exchange Server 2003

Consider the following scenario:

• You configure Envelope Journaling in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3 (SP3) together with the update that is described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article:
  834634� An update rollup is available to enable the Envelope Journaling feature in Exchange 2000 Server
• A user in your organization sends an e-mail message that contains a prefix in the Subject line. For example, a user in your organization sends an e-mail message with a Subject line that is similar to the following:

  TO: username

In this scenario, when you view the envelope report message in the journaling mailbox, you notice that the prefix is duplicated in the Subject line of the journaled message. For example, the journaled message might have a Subject line that is similar to the following:Note In this scenario, the prefix may be from one to three non-numeric characters that do not have any spaces between the characters and that are followed by a colon (:). This problem does not only occur with the prefix "TO:". For example, this problem occurs with all the following prefixes and with more prefixes in the Subject line of an e-mail message:
