- You can log on to Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2000. However, you cannot view any folders that appear in the Folder List in Outlook. When you click a folder to view the contents of the folder, you receive the following error message: Unable to expand the folder. You do not have appropriate permission to perform this operation.
