Symptoms

If an LU1 print job is configured to use the terminate command on an UNBIND request instead of on an End Bracket command in Microsoft Host Integration Server 2000, you may receive an application fault in Snaprint.exe. The fault will appear at ppd3270!IOCPWorkRoutine. A user dump file will be similar to the following code:

0f2dffc0 00070000 KERNEL32!BaseThreadStart(<function> * lpStartAddress = <Memory access error>,
void * lpParameter = <Memory access error>)+0x52
SNA Print Internal traces filtered on the IOCPWorkRoutine function will show the following code:
Thread 0 waiting for work..
Thread 0 got a work request (0). PPD 0x00000001, MsgId 122
Session 0 valid
decrementOpenCount set to FALSE
