To resolve this issue, change the refresh rate on the
monitor. To do this, follow these steps, as appropriate for the operating system that you are running.
Note See the product documentation for the monitor to determine the
refresh rates that work best for the monitor.
Windows Vista
1. | Open Display Settings. To do this, click Start, type display in the Start Search box, and then click Display Settings in the Programs list.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue. |
2. | Click Advanced Settings.
|
3. | Click the Monitor tab, and then select a new refresh rate. The monitor takes a moment to adjust.
If you want to keep the changes, click Apply. If you don't apply the changes within fifteen seconds, the refresh rate reverts to your original setting.
Note Changes to the refresh rate affect all users who log on to the computer. |
Windows XP
1. | Right-click an empty area on your desktop, and then click
Properties. |
2. | In the Display Properties dialog box, click the
Settings tab, and then click
Advanced. |
3. | Click the Monitor tab. |
4. | Under Screen refresh rate, select a
different refresh rate. |
