"There is no usage information available" error message when you try to view the Usage Summary for your Web site in FrontPage 2003

Symptoms

When you try to view the Usage Summary for your Web site in the Reports view in Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003, you may receive a message that is similar to the following:
There is no usage information available because no data is being collected for this web. To collect usage data, contact the server administrator.

Cause

This message may appear if one of the following conditions is true:
You opened a local, disk-based Web.
Your server-based Web site is running Microsoft FrontPage 2000 Server Extensions, or earlier.
The scheduled processing of the usage data has not yet run for the first time on the Web server.
Enable Logging is not turned on for the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) server.
Enable Logging is not turned on for the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services Server.

Resolution

To resolve this behavior and to view the Usage Analysis data in your FrontPage 2003 Web, do one of the following:
If your site is running FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions or SharePoint Team Services from Microsoft, make sure that the server administrator has turned on IIS logging.

Additionally, the Site administrator must turn on logging on the SharePoint Team Services Web site, or the Microsoft FrontPage 2002 Web site. For more information about SharePoint and FrontPage logging, visit the Setting Installation Defaults Web page on the Tech Net Web site:
If your site is running Windows SharePoint Services, make sure that the Server administrator has turned on Enable Logging in the Central Administration pages.
