You receive an error message when you try to use the Access Links Add-in for Excel to Create a New Access Database

When you try to use the Access Links Add-in for Microsoft Excel to create a new Access database, you may receive the following error message:where Sheet1$address is the name of the spreadsheet.

This problem occurs after you install Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service Pack 6 (SP6).

To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1.

1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Update.
2. Click Scan for updates.
3. On the left pane, click your version of Microsoft Windows.
4. Click the Add button that is next to Q282010: Recommended Update for Microsoft Jet 4.0 Service Pack 7 (SP7).
5. Click Review and install updates, and then follow the prompts to install the service pack. You may have to restart your computer after you install the service pack.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.This problem was first corrected in OneNote 2003 Service Pack 1.
