This article describes how to add custom HTML code to your page to display the CNBC Ticker.

To include the CNBC Ticker in your Web, follow these steps, as appropriate for the product that you are running.

Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 and Microsoft Expression Web

1.Open your Web in SharePoint Designer 2007 or in Expression Web.
2.On the File menu, click New.
3.In the New task pane, click Blank page.
4.Put the insertion point where you want your ticker to appear on the page.
5.On the View menu, point to Page, and then clickCode. This procedure shows the HTML code for your Web page.
6.On the the Tools menu, click Page Editor Options.
7.Click the IntelliSense tab, and then click to clear the Enable Code Hyperlinks for the following elements check box.
8.Click OK.
9.Use your Web browser to locate the following MSN Money Web site:
10.Select and then copy the CNBC Ticker code.
11.In SharePoint Designer or in Expression Web, click Paste on the Edit menu to paste the CNBC Ticker code that you copied from the MSN Money Web site.
12.Read the CNBC Ticker Installation Notes document. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
13.On the File menu, click Save, and then save your new page in your FrontPage Web.
14.On the File menu, click Preview in Browser to view the page in your browser.

Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003

1.Open your Web in FrontPage 2003.
2.On the File menu, click New.
3.On the New task pane, click Blank page.
4.Put the insertion point where you want your ticker to appear on the page.
5.Click Code (Show Code View). This procedure shows the HTML code for your Web page.
6.Use your Web browser to locate the following MSN Money Web site:
7.Select and then copy the CNBC Ticker code.
8.In FrontPage, click Paste on the Edit menu to paste the CNBC Ticker code that you copied from the MSN Money Web site.
9.Read the CNBC Ticker Installation Notes document. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
10.On the File menu, click Save, and then save your new page in your FrontPage Web.
11.On the File menu, click Preview in Browser to view the page in your browser.
Note You may receive a security warning that prompts you to install the CNBC Ticker when you preview in your browser.
