Introduction

An unextended Web server is a Web server that does not have the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions installed. This article describes how to publish a Microsoft Expression Web, Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007, or Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 Web to an unextended Web server by using FTP.

To publish files and folders in a Web site to a Web server that supports FTP, open and then save a copy of the site to your computer, edit the files and folders in that copy, and then publish the updated files and folders to the server.
